IT IS NOT WRONG TO HAVE AN EXPECTATION OF REWARD: Every crisis holds within it an opportunity to reap a reward. There is always a pearl concealed in the pain. When David got into the camp of Israel he saw that Goliath had emotionally devastated the hosts of Israel, with fear.

As a carrier of the anointing he came into the camp to fight. He did not see a problem, he saw an opportunity. In 1 Samuel 17:26a, David spoke to the men that stood by saying, “what shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel...?

While others saw an insurmountable problem, David saw a great opportunity. While they were gripped with fear, he was captured by faith. Whatever crisis you are facing now can be turned into an opportunity.

Any crisis that is seen as an avenue for upliftment is already half conquered. When you see the light at the end of the tunnel, you will be motivated to uproot every obstacle on your way. You will fight better, knowing that something good will come out of the crisis in the end.

THREE GROUPS OF FOLLOWERS THAT WILL NEVER END WELL AROUND A SPIRITUAL LEADER:

Take note of these three groups of followers. They hardly end well.

1. THE FOLLOWER WHO AFTER MANY CORRECTIONS STILL CHOOSE TO REMAIN FOOLISH: According to scripture, he that is often rebuke but hardens his heart will be destroyed without remedy. Proverbs. 29:1. Only a foolish leader will keep correcting when the follower is known for not complying. No leader wants to waste his energy on a follower that has chosen foolishness.
To talk or not to talk, depends on who you are to talk to. Please don't waste your talk.

2. THE FOLLOWER WHO REACTS NEGATIVELY TO EVERY CORRECTION FROM THE LEADER: These groups of people have issues with anger. Leaving them to die with their anger is better than having to manage a crisis after every time you correct them. Even when the correction is to save them from an impending danger, they still get angry and react. These groups of people have been bewitched to die by their errors, Errors that a simple instructions from their leaders would have helped them avoid. No stubborn member under me has ended well. Even when I ask you to do what appears wrong humanly speaking, you don't argue with an oracle that has a history of not misfiring.

3. THE FOLLOWERS THAT DON'T SEE THE LEADER AS ONE THAT IS EVEN QUALIFIED TO CORRECT THEM: My online followers celebrate the wisdom of God upon my life. Yet I have members who don't see me as even qualified to counsel them or advise them. These people are victims of over-familiarity. They think they know the leader. But they don't know that the aspect they know is what their attitude and anger can handle. There are more things to know.

There is nothing you can do to help these groups of people, just watch them suffer until they learn to value what they have for free that others have for a fee.

Dear leader you see these three groups of people, don't waste your time on them. Allow them to learn obedience by the things they will have to suffer.

Be blessed.

10 Lessons I learned From Discipline Is Destiny by Ryan Holiday:

1. You always control whether you give your best or not.

No one can stop you from that.

You don’t have to end up number one in your class.
Or win everything, every time. In fact, not winning is not particularly important.

What does matter is that you gave everything, because anything less is to cheat the gift.

2. To remain oneself in a world that pushes for conformity takes courage.

It takes courage as well as temperance to be restrained in a world of excess, where we attack & mock those who don’t indulge in the pleasures we have rationalized & the passions we’ve excused in ourselves.

3. While we hold ourselves to the highest standards—and hope that our good behavior is contagious—we cannot expect everyone else to be like us. It’s not fair, nor is it possible.

4. Be a strong, inspiring example and let that be enough . . . and even then try to be empathetic.

5. The fire within us can burn bright enough to warm others. The light within us can illuminate the path for others. What we accomplish can make things possible for others.

6. A leader must be selfless, they must sacrifice, they must face the same deprivations as everyone else in the organization.

If you can do this, Mattis learned from the writings of General Viscount Slim, “they will follow you to the end of the world.”

7. Don’t beat yourself up. Build yourself up. Make yourself better.

8. Hope is important but it is not a strategy.

9. Retreats, we must remember, are only temporary. They are buying us time until we can take the offensive and courageously attack again in pursuit of our victory.

10. A person who lives below their means has far more latitude than a person who can’t.
