Is It Possible That Sometimes
In Our Own Ministry We project what we really need onto others to the point that the feeders become needers.
Here's what I mean by that. It's very difficult to do ministry well when you need validation from the very people that God is calling you to validate.
The Devil will come to you in a moment of deficit. That's when you're susceptible. When you are at a deficit of rest, when you are at a deficit of connection, when you are at a deficit of encouragement.
But God wants to help you shift to begin to minister out of fullness because you've been giving out of emptiness, and you've been going to the people that you are called to feed to get your fill.
And what it's causing in your life is constant confusion wondering: Am I enough, and can I do it, and do they like me?
So now you're constantly moved, and if one person says one thing it threatens you and destabilizes you, and so now you feel the need to prove it.
The pressure to prove it. Do you need to prove how intelligent you are, or are you trying to connect with someone about their life today? That's the question.

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini is a book that explores the principles of persuasion and how they can be used effectively in various contexts, from marketing and advertising to personal relationships and negotiations. The book identifies six key principles of influence:
1. Reciprocity: People feel obligated to repay a favor or gift. Giving something of value to someone can increase the likelihood that they will reciprocate.
2. Scarcity: People value things that are rare or difficult to obtain. Creating a sense of scarcity can increase the perceived value of something and motivate people to act.
3. Authority: People are more likely to follow the advice or directives of someone who is seen as an expert or authority in a particular area.
4. Consistency: People like to remain consistent with their past actions and beliefs. By asking for small commitments or getting people to publicly commit to something, it becomes more likely that they will follow through.
5. Liking: People are more likely to be persuaded by people they like. Building rapport, finding common ground, and using compliments can help to increase liking and influence.
6. Social Proof: People are more likely to follow the lead of others in similar situations. Using examples of others who have taken the desired action can increase the perceived social proof and motivate others to do the same.

HOW TO COME FORTH AS GOLD.
1. REALIZE THAT GOD KNOWS THE WAY YOU TAKE: “But He knows the way that I take…” (Job 23:10a).
2. BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL COME FORTH AS GOLD AFTER YOUR TRIAL: “…When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10b).
3. LET YOUR FOOT HOLD FAST TO GOD’S STEPS: “My foot has held fast to His steps” (Job 23:11a).
4. KEEP GOD’S WAYS IN TIME OF DIFFICULTY: “…I have kept His way…” (Job 23:11b).
5. DON’T TURN ASIDE FROM GOD’S WAY: “…I have…not turned aside” (Job 23:11c).
6. DON’T DEPART FROM THE COMMANDMENT OF HIS LIPS: “I have not departed from the commandment of His lips” (Job 23:12a).
7. TREASURE GOD’S WORDS MORE THAN FOOD: “…I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12b).
8. ALLOW GOD TO PERFORM WHAT IS APPOINTED FOR YOU: “For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such things are with Him” (Job 23:14).
You will have difficult times as you journey on the narrow paths of life. Do not be afraid of the things you will suffer.
Be faithful until death. Like Job and Jeremiah, declare “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.
Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Job 42:2; Jeremiah 32:17).
