WHEN YOU CARRY WEIGHT, MANY OTHERS WILL WAIT ON YOU...

(let everyone craving to become a star read this)

A young man came to THE CITY OF TALENTS years ago that he needed me as his MENTOR and I asked what his vision was.

Guess his response: 'I WANT TO BECOME A STAR'. I told him that's not a vision.

He went on and narrated how he had gone from one film location to the other begging for roles, sleeping all nights under the tree, getting treated disdainfully, going hungry and usually looking stupid.

I was blunt! 'You are concentrating on the wrong things', I told him. You want to become a star. Ok. After that, what next?

At that time, he was branding a diploma certificate in International Relations. I asked him to go back to school and add values to himself.
I supported his fees when he returned to school. Today, he has a master's degree and has a lot of CELEBRITIES as friends. Those treating him anyhow then now shows him a lot of honour. He developed more interest in producing films and travels abroad regularly. He now employs those who refused to employ him about ten years ago.
He looked at me one day and said 'I would have been a mess by now if God didn't send me to you'.

Read this: All the craze for stardom won't take you anywhere. Jumping from one location to another when you need more time to add values to yourself wouldn't help you.

It's time to go back to school. It's time to develop yourself. It's time to add intellectuality to your talent. New talents are emerging everyday and the only way to stay relevant is never to stop adding values to yourself.

Carry weight first because when you carry weight, many others will wait on you.
